Last raya , we made satay as a main dish on the night of first raya . My father taught me how to make satay by his recipe that he used since my dad was child . I tried my first satay by myself while my father gave an instruction for me how to did. Thus , beside satay dish there was rendang itik , lontong , tomyam . We one big family was gathering at my house and had a baberque. My eldest brother was set up the baberque set,while my second brother buy a dunkin donut and my third brother was playing firework with our nephew while set up pelita around the house .how i miss that moment of raya while heard the takbir at mosque that nearby of my parent house.On that night , there was a football match between malaysia and singapore , it's make our house more enjoyable.futhermore , that my Pak ngah was shouted when Malaysia was goal ,make people in that house felt happy.
Okay , going back to the story about satay . Let me shared my daddy's recipe of satay:-
-half of chicken meat
-a cup of sugar
Fried it wighout the oil untilit is crispy
*a tablespoon of coriander
*a tablespoon of cumin
*a tablespoon of aniseed
-two sticks lemon grass
-oil
First you have to fried the coriander , cumin and aniseed until crispy, and then blended it to make it in powder state. Besides , pour the powder in satay that have been cut ito pieces then mixed it with sugar that can make satay look delicios and sticky . Lastly we can grilled the satay .
